On Aquatic Species: Threats to Waterways and How to Stop Them

Hosted by the Capital Region PRISM and Saratoga Public Library

These plants crowd out native vegetation and are generally unpalatable to aquaticspecies, which increases their competitive advantage. CAPMO PRISM Coordinator, Kristopher Williams, and Education & Outreach Coordinator, Lauren Mercier, will identify some of these invaders and describe how water sport enthusiasts canhelp battle and contain aquatic vegetation.
