Outdoors Day at the Boquet River Nature Preserve

Outdoors Day is a free, open-house style event held in conjunction with National Get Outdoors Day. Visit APIPP’s table at The Nature Conservancy's Boquet River Nature Preserve in the heart of downtown Willsboro, New Yorkwe’ll be handing out free, hand-held boot brushes for you to use to clean gear and footwear when you hike all summer long. The Bouquet Preserve includes 110 acres of floodplain and upland forest, and more than a half-mile of shoreline on the lower Boquet River in the beautiful Champlain Valley.

You’ll find us from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm at the preserve's Uplands Entrance in downtown Willsboro, close to the intersection of S. Library Street and Main Street

Access & Parking
There are currently two entrances into the preserve. The uplands entrance on South Library Street behind the Champlain Valley Senior Community Center and the Paine Memorial Library uses the former school basketball court as a parking area. There is also a smaller parking lot with handicapped accessible spots just within the preserve boundary line. The second entrance is at the end of Gilliland Lane at the Willsboro Boat Launch. Find driving directions to TNC's Boquet Preserve located in Willsboro, NY here
